Interior and Exterior Sun Screens
Block the Sun the Right Way.
Sun screens are just what their name implies -- screens that block a percentage of sunlight and, therefore, the accompanying light and heat. Sun screens come in many colors and densities to significantly help mitigate heat gain and UV damage. When placed on the outside of a window, a skylight, or a sunroom, they block the sun before it enters the structure.
The exterior application is the most effective way to lower the interior temperature and will dramatically cut air-conditioning costs. However, sun screens can also be highly effective in interior applications in dealing with heat and glare. Installations can be fixed, manually operated, or motorized with all the requisite bells and whistles.
